The stars they sparkled brightly As Venus sat so quietly On her heavenly throne The clouds like bubbles bursting Left terra ever thirsting The moon a golden sliver Sent a sudden shiver As I lumbered ever lonely Across the sad and sandy shore One more night I wondered As the lightening loudly thundered at horizon's door I fought I won I lost Then I won and lost again I followed all the rules Bring me back completed And totally undefeated In love's unholy war
